NHS Now App – Improvements to be made and we need your help

Do you think people should have better mobile access to healthcare information across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) area? Would you like to help make it possible?

In 2016 we developed a mobile app on behalf of the LLR health community, which we named NHS Now. The app provides a really simple and effective way to find and access local health services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We are planning further development of the app and are aiming to provide even more functionality. We want to know what you think before we make any changes.

NHS Now is aimed at patients and provides the details and location of General Practice, Pharmacy, Dentist and Optometry, Urgent Care, Emergency Department and social care services. It tells you when they are open and then directs you to them using Google maps as a Sat-Nav function. It also links to self-care advice and provider websites.

We would like to invite you to attend an event where you can be part of the future of the NHS Now App
