Purpose of the Awareness Week

Male Cancer Awareness Week is an annual event aimed at highlighting essential health messages for men at risk of these specific cancers. The campaign seeks to improve awareness and understanding of the signs and symptoms associated with prostate testicular, and penile cancers. It provides an opportunity for men, their families, and healthcare professionals to learn more about these conditions and the importance of early detection and regular check ups. he campaign aims to raise awareness of male-specific cancers — testicular, prostate, and penile cancer — and highlight the importance of recognising the early signs, seeking timely medical advice, and reducing stigma around men’s health issues.
